Today o2 in the UK announces that it is partnering with Visa as part of its ‘Mobile Wallet’ NFC payment service that it plans to release later this year. o2 also announces that other partners for this service include Wave Crest who will operate the core banking platform, FIS providing transaction processing and customer service which will be based in the UK and Intelligent Environments who will create wallet applications for mobile phones.
