NFC for B&Q Stores UK

We learn today that B&Q is behind the scenes planning to introduce NFC payments for their stores that will allow members of the public to pay for their goods via their Mobile phones. Also today, Torex, who are the leading global provider of innovative technology to the retail industry (and have B&Q on their client list) confirm that they will be presenting a variety of new products and technologies designed for the retail industry at NRF 2012.

Torex confirm that they are using the NRF 2012 event to launch Retail-J 11 which features exciting new functionality to support cross-channel trading and innovative payment solutions including contactless, NFC and PayPal.
